Retail Store

Springfield Leather has a simply glorious retail location at 1463 S. Glenstone Ave., in (guess where…) Springfield Missouri!   Not Springfield IL.  Not Springfield Ma., Not Springfield Va., and definitely not Springfield Ohio, or any other state!  Having just one central location can be of benefit to you if you’re one of our mail order customers, because if you’re out of our state, you won’t have to pay sales tax.   That can be a substantial savings.   Many folks don’t realize that we’re one of the largest tourist destinations in the U.S., in line with the original Bass Pro shop here in town, and the giant frying pan in Brandon Iowa.  Actually, I might be a exaggerating a bit…We do have one of the largest bead and jewelry stores in the Midwest….  Lots of really cool stones!   We’re a really neat place to spend an afternoon.   We have master leather workers on site almost all the time.   If we don’t have something, there’s a good chance we can tell you where to go….  To find it of course...Here’s a couple of facts:  Some corporate officials need lots of money to support lots of different wants.  I’m not like that…..  My kids are grown and out of the house. I don’t anticipate sending any of them or their kids to college.  I don’t need to drive a Lexus or a Mercedes, and neither my wife nor I want to live in a great big house overlooking a lake.  I don’t feel a burning need to join a country club, or play golf in Scotland once a month, or indulge in any other number of expensive hobbies.  As long as I’ve got enough money to buy gas for the lawnmower, food for her stupid dog and her retarded bird, I’m pretty well happified.  That helps us to keep our prices low.
