Springfield Leather’s
production division is quite unique. Of course, my wife’s stupid dog is
unique too… Regardless, we actually have the ability to provide
services and products that are available absolutely no where else. An
example would be the wood and leather line that has been developed by the
production manager of our shop. We have the ability to do almost
everything imaginable with leather of all sorts. That being said, we’re
pretty darned careful to only accept jobs that we want to do!
Here are a few things that we can do, just to give you an idea of our
capabilities: Custom Motorcycle seats. (ostrich, snake, elephant,
gator, etc), handmade boots, custom die cutting, upper end upholstery,
leather shapes of all sorts for camp use, leather holsters for anything,
sheaths for any knife you can imagine, repair of high dollar handbags,
garments, etc. We’ve made wallets that sell for 5 bucks. We’ve
made wallets that sell for 400 bucks… We’re able to emboss belts and straps.
We can provide custom cut belt blanks and straps. We make 200 tool
pouches every ninety days for one company that re-sells them. We make
24 specialized belts every week for another company that re-sells
them. We make wristbands and coasters by the thousands for kids
to stamp on while they’re at the summer camp. We can shine your shoes….
In other words, if you have a need, call us. We might be able to
help.….. But you need to know, that just because we can
do something, doesn’t mean that we will do something! At the very
least, we have a tremendous amount of experience with all sorts of leather
