These are Drum Dyed Veg Tanned Tooling Bellies! The color is Struck through (except for the Natural...which has no color...naturally), and because they are veg tanned, you can tool them. These bellies have also been straight edged so that you don't get a lot of waste like you do with the regular tooling bellies. We sell these as 8-10 oz. but most are 8/9 oz. They are somewhat dry and have a fairly firm hand to them. They average between 5-7 sf. and all of them have really good length. Worst case scenario is that you would only get 2 belts out of one belly...but with most of them you can easily get 3-5 strips from a single belly. Then after you cut your strips, just put a finish over them and slap on some lining and BAM!! You got yourself one heck of a nice belt! In addition to some awesome belts, these are great for holsters, knife sheathes and cases!
