Black & White Speckled Cowhide gives you strong contrast, natural movement, and a pattern that immediately draws the eye. Every hide has its own mix of black, white, speckling, markings, hair direction, and shape, so no two pieces will ever be exactly alike.

For interior design, this is an easy way to add texture without introducing a lot of extra color. The black and white pattern works well with modern, western, rustic, industrial, farmhouse, and contemporary spaces. Use a full hide beneath a coffee table, beside a bed, under an accent chair, layered over another rug, or displayed as wall décor for a bold natural focal point.

Choose the amount of hide that fits your project:

• Full Hide: Approximately 35–45 Sq. Ft.

• ½ Hide: Approximately 18–20 Sq. Ft.

• ¼ Hide: Approximately 8–10 Sq. Ft.

The smaller cuts are also a great option for leathercrafters and upholsterers. Use them for ottomans, benches, chair panels, pillows, bags, purses, cuffs, inlays, upholstery accents, and other projects where the natural hair pattern becomes part of the finished design.

Because the speckling is completely natural, one hide may have larger areas of contrast while another may have a finer, more evenly distributed pattern. That variation is what gives genuine hair-on cowhide its character and makes every project unique.

Half and quarter hides are cut from available full hides, so availability of those sizes depends on current full-hide inventory.
