Not everyone should buy a leather bundle…
The SLC leather bundles were initially designed to meet the needs of customers that fit into one or more of 3 categories:

Just starting out and on limited income

Creative and perhaps a bit on the adventurous side when it comes to their leather work.

Are not limited to making only one or two things.
Regarding the making of our leather bundles, it’s time consuming, challenging, and one heck of a balancing act. As an example, When we advertise a bundle as being “economy” we do our best to let folks know that they’re not going to get a whole bunch of perfectly good leather that is only good for making wallets! We don’t know what you make, so the two of us that make all the bundles try really hard to include leathers that could be used on a wide variety of projects. Perhaps belt lining, wallet interiors, or just pockets, or glue-in lining, trim, inlays, overlays, or pouches, or cases, or handbags or build-up material, and whatever else. Sometimes in the case of an ugly bundle (best seller by far) you might have to use the back side of the leather rather than the ugly right side!
We never intentionally send a piece of leather that we feel is trash or useless.
Bottom Line: If you don’t fall into one or more of the above categories of customer, please consider how we make our leather bundles and then consider your purchase before hitting BUY NOW. That will reduce potential frustration of you having to find a use for a piece of leather that you don’t like. As always, If you should ever get something that you feel is just not worth the money, all it takes is a brief call or email to get things taken care of. It allows for both you and us to give each other the benefit of the doubt, and feel good about the way that we’ve handled things.
