Dark Brindle Cowhide is all about natural striping, depth, and contrast. These hides typically feature darker brown and black tones with brindled patterns running through the hair, giving each one a more dramatic, textured look than a more evenly colored cowhide.

For interior spaces, Dark Brindle works especially well when you want something rich and organic without going to a solid dark hide. The striping adds movement and visual interest, while the deeper tones pair naturally with wood, stone, leather furniture, metal accents, and neutral fabrics. Use a full hide beneath a coffee table, beside a bed, under an accent chair, layered over another rug, or displayed on a wall.

Choose the amount of hide that fits your project:

• Full Hide: Approximately 35–45 Sq. Ft.

• ½ Hide: Approximately 18–20 Sq. Ft.

• ¼ Hide: Approximately 8–10 Sq. Ft.

Half and quarter hides are also useful for leathercrafters and upholsterers who want to take advantage of the natural brindling without buying an entire hide. Use them for ottomans, benches, chair panels, pillows, bags, purses, cuffs, inlays, upholstery accents, and other projects where the hair pattern becomes part of the finished design.

Brindle patterns can vary quite a bit from hide to hide. Some may have bold, clearly defined striping, while others may be more blended, mottled, or irregular. That variation is exactly what gives genuine brindle cowhide its character.
