I’d shift this one noticeably toward interior design first, while still teaching leathercrafters why the smaller cuts are useful. I also like keeping some of the “Gambler’s Luck” personality because that name gives us permission to have a little fun.

No two natural cowhides are exactly alike, and that’s the whole idea behind Gambler’s Luck. Each hide has its own combination of natural color, markings, and pattern, giving you a genuine one-of-a-kind piece for interiors, upholstery accents, or leathercraft.

For interior spaces, a full cowhide makes an easy statement piece without requiring a traditional rectangular rug. Use one beneath a coffee table, alongside a bed, under an accent chair, layered over another rug, or anywhere you want to introduce natural texture and organic shape. Hair-on cowhide also works beautifully in western, rustic, lodge, modern, eclectic, and contemporary interiors—it all depends on the hide you happen to get.

Need something smaller? Gambler’s Luck is available in several cut sizes:

• Full Hide: Approximately 35–45 Sq. Ft.

• ½ Hide: Approximately 18–20 Sq. Ft.

• ¼ Hide: Approximately 8–10 Sq. Ft.

Half and quarter hides give leathercrafters and designers an economical way to work with genuine hair-on leather without purchasing more material than the project requires. Use them for ottomans, chair panels, pillows, benches, bag panels, purses, cuffs, inlays, small upholstery projects, wall décor, and other pieces where the natural hair pattern becomes part of the design.
