Fiebing's Vintage Gel

Fiebing's Vintage Gel 8 oz bottle. Available in Black, Dark Brown, Light Brown, Medium Brown, Mahogany, Saddle Tan, and Tan.

Fiebing’s Vintage Gel creates a two toned antique look or patina to natural leathers while emphasizing hand tooling or embossing effects.

Directions: Apply desired amount of Vintage Gel to a dry, soft cloth or sheepskin. Work into leather in a small circular motion until surface has an overall, even color. Remove excess immediately with a clean, soft cloth. Continue rubbing until surface achieves a mellow gloss. Allow to dry completely. Apply a top finish for a Final Seal.

"The dark brown is a little light. My usual routine is leather dye, let dry, oil, let dry and then some resolene before applying antique paste and some more resolene to wipe off excess. I should have probably oiled it after application to get it to go darker. I’ll have to play with it but I like the color. A little does not go a long way, either."
