M & G Seconds:
Moore & Giles Seconds are leathers that their customers rejected, so the company no longer has use for them. While natural markings are expected and welcomed, seconds may have a few too many cosmetic blemishes such as range markings and brands, thus they are rejected by their customers. The same with color overruns, where they produced more hides in various colors than they needed, as well as color variations they hadn’t planned on; like the color was too light or too dark, not the right tone, etc. Despite what some may call defects, all this leather is pure quality, extremely high-end, and very, very nice. Moore & Giles sources the world’s finest leather from family-owned tanneries around the world and crafts each piece in small batches, choosing quality over quantity. Knowing this, leathers from these lots are usually Special Purchase, so the collections may vary, and colors may change.

Great look and feel!

"Bought a small amount of two colors in Eastwood and two colors in the M&G Mont Blanc to compare so I could pick what I like best. Definitely prefer the Eastwood to the Mont Blanc. Smoother, richer feeling and more even color with less pull up (and I like the colors more). To be fair the Mont Blanc does advertise as drier, I just didn't quite know what that meant/felt like till having it in hand. Will be ordering larger quantities of the Eastwood in Honey and Winter Pine for my projects! (The Mont Blanc pictured are Fatigue and Camel)."
