Waste of time

"It has potential, but the piece I got had a knife cut in the usable area and there was tick and fly bites all over it. It’s not what any other company would call #1. It’s not top quality and don’t buy it online. Ever since the leather-working took off again, the quality shipped has changed. They’ll let you return it, which is why I gave it 2 stars and not one. I’m pretty lost at where to buy leather from that’s not HO these days."

I asked for the same

"I asked for the same 5-6 oz veg tanned leather sold on Amazon. This that I got was much thicker and am not sure I will ever be able to use it. Lesson learned!!!"

"Came absurdly clean, even up to the edges it's useable most places, beautifully pale and fresh. did seem a tad stiffer, but even making complex sculptures it's no issue."

"Seems ok, mine came with quite a few holes and 2 greasy hand prints. Not really worth the extra for the "top grade" on my cut as the medium grade I ordered had far less flaws."

Tools well

"Leather cracked when I got to the sewing process. I was really surprised at how much it cracked when folded even after being wet. A little discouraging since I’ve always had great pieces of oil tan leather so I’m giving 4 stars in case something in my dyeing caused the issue but as it cracked deep down into the leather I have to assume it was the leather."
