"This leather is light weight but has body to stand up even for making tote bags. The oily surface that looks like it may rub off on light clothing can be minimized by adding a clear coat like super sheen or resolene. The leather will turn darker (we bought the burgundy) but it shines to the max when done and adds a great uniqueness to any projecy. We love it."
