You will need: 
Approx. 6 sq feet of 3-5 oz. leather
Inner Soles: Approximately one square foot of any leather you wish, even 8-9 oz. veg tan. You could also opt for a man-made padded sole.
(2) one-yard pieces of 1/8" leather lace (latigo lace, alum tanned laces, boot laces, suede lace, etc.)
