Navajo Goat Skins

New Pricing! Now Priced by the Skin

Very soft, pliable, a little stretchy with a pleasant honey color on top, brighter yellowy back. Would make great bags, linings, moccasins, and anything that you wanted to be soft and squishy. The yellow that shows when you cut it gives you the opportunity to have striking looking exposed seams like you see on many expensive bags today. 3-6 ft avg, NOW sold by the skin.  This has been one of the best selling leathers that we’ve had in recent times….

So soft. Lovely color.

"I chose this leather for my first venture into making shoes for myself. Both the price and the description helped inform that choice. I am so happy with how they look and the feel of this leather is so ridiculously comfortable on my feet."

Perfect garment leather!

"We love it. I made Indian leggings for my 5yr old and it has great stretch and strength. I also made moccasins from it but it’s a little thin for that. I’m not going to let him wear them daily as I would expect them to wear out quickly. The exterior is more orange than my photo shows."

Rachel M. (5/5)

Very happy

"No regrets! Quality was great - exactly what I expected and the color was even accurate to the photo!"

Nicole C. (5/5)

Goat skins

"Awesome, first time lining a bag and all is well."

Brandon H. (5/5)

"Amazed at the amount of usable leather. I bought 10 and for the price should have gotten a few more. Decent sizes. Had a pin hole in the center of one. Overall, extremely happy with my purchase."

Joseph (5/5)

"Beautiful leather!"

Desiree (5/5)

They really are incredibly soft

"I purchased these for binding softcover journals. They're going to be a pleasure to hold, as soft as this leather is."

Adam M. (5/5)

goat leather,, hmm, nice !

"great for my small bag project,, doesn't take dye the same as other leathers, would look great with beading. good price , makes r n d affordable . have many ideas for this leather , it has a unique stretch and softness , get a bit stiff after wetting but is workable after conditioning , seems relatively strong. made great fringes etc. sewed well . ."
