Sharp

"The blade is sharp out of the package. This is my first "round" knife so there is much to learn and the time to get used to it. I did some practice cuts. It feels like trying to cut through with a swivel knife, because of the angle/thickness of the blade. Rocking the blade while cutting cuts faster. Did some practice skiving on veg tan and chrome tan leathers. This also will take practice. My main reason for this purchase is to have a good general purpose knife for my travel tool kit."

Came with a good edge

"Came with a good edge on blade."

— Dennis D. (4/5)

make a grip the way you like

"Outstanding blade, heavy 440C steel, same stuff that made Buck knives famous, long taper, extremely sharp, tape up the edge while working the grip"

— Mike W. (5/5)

nice knife

"refined poin for tight curves, long edge for straight cuts, heavy blade, long tapered edge"

— MIchael W. (5/5)

Great knife

"I ordered the mini round and so far it has performed great. I added a Brazilian Hickory handle to mine."

— Aaron (5/5)

Finally a skiving knife that works for me

"I picked up the Mini round knife because I was on the hunt for a Skiver that Worked for my needs. I didn't put a handle on it and use it "as is". I dont know if it is the angle of the bevel, the size of the blade or just how it fits my hand, but I have been getting more consistent results with this knife than the 5 others I own. Give it a shot."
