Finish wears off easily
"I'm so torn on this one. I got the Canary yellow, which is a bright sunny yellow and is a color I've been looking for. Out of the box, it's gorgeous, glossy, and mostly smooth with just some minor holes and off color spots at a couple of the very edges. Just by looks it would be 4-5 star. I decided to use some if of the edge for small card holders for practice before making bigger projects with the nicer center. But as I needed to wipe it down during gluing the liner, the finish and dye started coming off onto a very mildly damp cloth. It seems it isn't remotely water resistant, or at least the edges weren't. The sunny yellow paled a bit, and the finish looks far more crackly, less shiny, and it easily picks up discoloration. I haven't had these issues with any other Kidskin from Springfield that I've used. I'll probably have to stick to uses like inside wallet liners and pockets, as I'm not sure I can trust this one for a clutch or wallet outside where it could get wet, unless I reseal it somehow. But the color overall is so pretty."

"I’ve had a hard time finding some goat skins, that I really love. As a person who makes lots of wallets, building interiors has become pretty tricky with the lack of good Leather. This stuff is definitely a little glossy for me, but I can live with it."

Disappointing
"sorry but there is nothing I can say that is good. I don't know a word to describe the color. nothing I have seen in the past. the leather is stiff. probably the paint or whatever if I saw this in a store I wouldn't pick it up much less buy it. sorry I'm sure someone could use it on something. if you don't take returns, I will put it somewhere. can I return this? the only reason is that I don't like it. I assume there is nothing else wrong."
