"Must have gotten unlucky with all my Springfield Leather this time. My order of the D Grade veg was definitely D-grade. Has tons of blemishes and weird dark spots. Overall pretty disappointed, but then again, I'm the one who bought D Grade hoping to have an experience similar to other reviewers. That's not on Springfield."

"I’m pretty new to leather working, most of my stuff I have to work with has come from hobby chains. Other places have veg tan and craft cut veg tan for up to 40 bucks for the cheapest bundle. I know Veg tens to be more expensive but seeing this and expecting low grade what I got is beautiful. May not be as much as I expected I thought I was getting the footage in the description but 2.85 for the amount I got is pretty good even if it’s low grade leather. Got a bunch of other goodies in my package too but some things broke sadly. All in all very nice and happy about what I got!"

"Great for the money. I bought this on two occasions. The first time, the half side I bought was near pristine with a perfectly clean surface. The second order had much more scarring. This is not a problem for me, since I have use for the distressed look. However, if you need a large, mostly clear piece, you might be better off selecting in person. Overall, for a large piece of lightweight vegtan, you will be hard pressed to find a better deal. This stuff is priced at about a third of what it costs for other 2-3oz. vegtan. I'll be picking up some more."
