Tanned by Medina Torres, this leather has a medium temper with enough body for sturdy projects while remaining easy to cut, fold, and sew. Its two-tone distressed finish has a distinct pull-up that brings out strong contrast as the natural oils and waxes shift through the leather.
This is a hearty leather made for chaps, bags, satchels, duffels, backpacks, upholstery, home décor, and a wide range of personal leather goods. It is going to stand up to the task while developing even more character through use.
Please Note: Pull-up leather may show scratches, scuffs, and variations in tone. These marks are part of the distressed character and can often be blended by rubbing the surface with your fingers or a soft cloth.

"Vintage cowboy leather was a disaster. They were completely out of Sides, so I bought 9 ft. ² . None of the colors matched each other. Springfield Leather stepped up and made it right. They were very courteous to support my needs. . They sent a shipping label right away for a return. FYI, it’ll be three more months before they have vintage Cowboy oil tan back in stock."

"The oxblood color is incredible in person. The pictures online really don’t do it justice. I love the medium firm hand for the duffle bags I’m making. Really is very eye catching and looks like an expensive designer bag. I am very pleased with that color, unfortunately the “steel” color I also got looks nothing like the pictures online so I honestly don’t know what I’m going to do with it. It’s very dark almost black without any real pull-up. It’s just not worth the hassle for me to return it. I will be ordering the lighter brown color and hopefully that is as beautiful as the oxblood."
