Carroll Leather Chevalier is a lightweight upholstery leather with a distinctive herringbone-style embossed pattern and a pull-up finish that gives the surface plenty of depth and movement. The repeating chevron design creates a refined, almost woven appearance while still letting the natural character of leather come through.

The medium to medium-soft temper gives Chevalier a comfortable balance of body and flexibility. At 2–3 oz., it drapes and wraps well around cushions and upholstered shapes without adding unnecessary bulk, making it a strong choice for furniture, accent pieces, pillows, panels, and other interior applications.

As the leather is bent, stretched, or handled, the pull-up finish shifts in tone and highlights the embossed pattern even more. The raised and recessed lines catch the light differently across the surface, creating a dimensional look that can change depending on how the leather is positioned.

Chevalier can also be used for soft-sided bags, totes, home décor, and other leather goods where the pattern itself becomes part of the design. It is especially useful when you want something more visually interesting than a standard pebble grain without moving into a heavily printed or decorative leather.

Please Note: The pull-up effect and embossed pattern can create natural variation in tone across the hide. Flexing or stretching the leather may temporarily lighten areas as the oils and waxes move within the leather.
