Inspired by the art and architecture of ancient Central America, Mayan Diamond features a bold geometric embossing that works just as well with western designs as it does with more modern projects. The repeating diamond pattern gives the leather plenty of visual interest without overpowering the rest of the piece.

At 2–3 oz. with a medium-soft temper, this full-hide leather is flexible and easy to cut and sew while still offering enough body for bags, panels, and other decorative applications. The embossed surface adds texture and depth, making it especially useful when you want the leather itself to become a major part of the design.

Mayan Diamond works well for handbags, totes, backpacks, wallets, notebook covers, upholstery accents, pillows, inlays, and western-inspired leather goods. It is also a strong choice for larger projects where the repeating pattern can be shown across a broader area.

Please Note: This leather is offered from full hides and may be cut to fill your order. Natural variation in grain, embossing, and surface character should be expected from hide to hide.
