"These caiman tails provide great exotic appeal to projects. They are NOT easy to work with. I have to let the pieces dictate how to use them. Also make sure anything used to cut them is VERY sharp. Whenever possible cut between the scales. That said, they are great for creating cosplay armor as well as the recommended small accessories like wallet accents, key fobs, and bracelet inlays. I found rivets to be better than lacing for attaching pieces. This grab bag should be ideal for crafters wanting to try handling a challenging leather without breaking the bank. 4 stars for handling, 5 for finished appeal!"
