Water Resistant Nubuck - Black
Sold By: Per Square Foot. Average Skin Size: 14 to 19 sqft. Thickness (approx.): 4oz to 5oz (1.6mm to 2mm) Great for: Duffel bags, motorcycle accessories, shoes, and any other project requiring water resistant leather.
For those of you unfamiliar with nubuck, this leather has had the top grain surface sanded off of it, leaving a naked finish and a light nap that is quite lovely to the touch. This leather is also EXTREMELY water resistant (NOT waterproof!) and has a good bit of body to it. Great for items that need that little bit of extra protection but still need a soft feel and pliable hand. This is the perfect leather for duffel bags! But it's just as great for making other bags, as well as shoes, sturdy chaps, all sorts of motorcycle accessories, and anything needing a water-resistant outside (or inside!).
These range from 14 - 19 sf. and are approx. 4 - 5 oz. We will rough-cut it for you! If you’re making belts, let us know and we’ll cut it lengthwise!
