Soft, fluffy, and full of character, these dyed rabbit skins are an easy way to add genuine fur, texture, and a little fun to all kinds of craft projects. Their small size and very soft feel make them especially useful when you only need a manageable piece of fur rather than a large hide.
These are craft-grade skins, which means perfection isn't the point. You may find a hole or two, small tears, bald spots, uneven or ragged edges, or an unusual shape. Most of those areas can simply be worked around, making these skins a practical choice for projects where you're cutting smaller pieces or using the fur as an accent.
Use them for bags and pouches, fur trim, costume and apparel accents, decorative panels, jewelry and accessories, pillows, throws, ornaments, mixed-media projects, and other home décor or craft applications. They're also handy for classrooms, camps, and creative projects where the natural texture of real fur becomes part of the design.
The majority of the skin measures approximately 3½–5 oz. when the fur is compressed, with the edges naturally thinning to around 2 oz. or less. Because every rabbit skin is different, the exact outline, usable area, fur density, and surface character will vary from one to the next.
