Fiebing’s Deglazer is used to prepare smooth leather for dyeing, recoloring, or refinishing. It removes existing surface finishes and helps strip away old color so new dye can penetrate more evenly.

Use Deglazer on clean, smooth leather before applying Fiebing’s Leather Dye, Pro Dye, or another compatible refinishing product. Apply it with a clean cloth and work in small sections, replacing the cloth as it picks up old finish and color.

Deglazer is useful for shoes, boots, belts, bags, saddlery, and other smooth leather goods that need to be refinished. When used properly, it prepares the surface without taking away the leather’s natural softness or flexibility.

Please Note: Use in a well-ventilated area and keep away from heat, sparks, and open flame. Deglazer may remove more color than expected, so always test on a small, inconspicuous area before treating the entire item.
