Exclusive to Springfield Leather, Pro Clear is a professional-grade acrylic finish made for top-coating and resist applications on natural leather. It creates a clear protective layer while allowing the color, tooling, and natural character of the leather to remain visible.
This water-based finish is non-toxic, non-flammable, and easy to work with, with no harmful fumes during normal use. It can be applied to small leather goods, boots, shoes, belts, wallets, tooled leather, and other projects that need a clear acrylic topcoat or resist.
If you were familiar with the old Tandy Super Sheen, Pro Clear offers a very similar type of finish and working experience. It is a useful choice for sealing finished leather or creating resist effects before applying antique or other coloring products. Springfield Leather currently offers it in several size options.
Please Note: Do not freeze. Test on a scrap piece before applying it to your project, especially when using it as a resist.
