Description
Toko Pro Burnishing Gum - Neutral
Sold By: 500 Gram, 100 Gram, or 50 Gram Container
Color: Neutral
Use: Burnishing Agent for flesh side and edges for vegetable, chrome, and combination tanned leathers.
**DO NOT FREEZE**
We’re very excited to announce that we now carry Toko Pro! a edge slicking and burnishing compound that’s nearly identical in comparison to Tokonole.
Fair warning! This product is going to change your life! Made with natural waxes and other raw materials to produce a clean, water-based alternative to Gum Tragacinth, that’s not only non-toxic, it’s odor-free! But unlike ordinary Gum Trag, which is generally used on veg tan, you can actually use this stuff (successfully) on chrome tanned leathers!!! BAM! GAME CHANGER!
Though it’s mostly used for burnishing and polishing edges of leather projects, producing a glass-like finish, it can also be used to paste the flesh side of most leathers, using a wood or glass slicker. This stuff is incredibly user-friendly, and clean-up is a breeze!
Here’s what one Professional Leather Craftsman has to say:
“I was an avid user of Tokonole. I love the way it's able to finish the edges on Chrome and Oil tanned leathers. I found Toko Pro from Springfield Leather and decided to give it a shot. I did a side by side comparison of Tokonole and Toko Pro and I'm happy to say that I could not tell the difference! The Toko Pro burnished the Chrome and Oil tanned leathers to perfection. I like that I can get the Toko Pro in a smaller 50gram container; it fits perfectly in my kits. Toko Pro is now a staple for my products.”
Andrew VanZyll - Grimbeard Leather
To use: Apply to the flesh side or edge of leather, and work with a burnishing tool until the desired finish is achieved. Applies easily and evenly to keep leather smooth. For use on vegetable, chrome, and combination tanned leathers.

"Works well with chrome tan leather"
Works like a champ
"The Toko Pro Burnishing Gum was suggested by one of your associates, who said they used it with good result. Based on that suggestion I picked some up and used it on two projects I had going. I will say I am more than satisfied. It only takes a little bit to do the job. It provides a nice, glossy edge and works well with a wooden burnished, or with canvas."
