So much easier than stropping my own knife
"I'm lazy. I admit it. Using my trusty ol' safety beveler with a brand-new, razor sharp blade to skive and thin leather for bookbinding is so much easier for my sausage fingers than trying to get the angle of cut just right with a traditional leather paring blade. My only gripe is how quickly these little guys lose their edge and have to be replaced. Maybe if I was less lazy, I would learn to sharpen them up again on a diamond stone or strop. Or I could just learn to use an English paring knife properly. Oh well."
