"Based on the price and description, I just ordered (and received within 48 hours!) 3 large pieces with the intention of prototyping and maybe making some rustic pieces for scouts. It will definitely get used for some of that, but this was much cleaner, smoother, higher quality, etc. than I expected. Mine were surprisingly smooth, supple, and strong, and now I need to re-think my plans for this "Cheap" material. Amazing value."
"No possible way even if someone found these hides on the side of the road will you get this price. Thick, soft, and 100% usable for me. I couldn’t be happier. As stated above my full hide is consistent in thickness but is stiffer or softer on opposite sides of the same hide. I am ordering 2/3 more right now. And to the women that assisted me on Saturday thank you for your time and great customer service. Great people here folks…."
"This stuff has both tough and soft sections on the same roll. I like to use the tough parts for moccasin soles, guitar straps, etc. and the soft parts for vamps, drawstring bags, and lacing. I usually keep at least one roll of this on hand...a very inexpensive way to experiment."
