"I assumed the natural strap was unfinished, but it appears to have a finish on it. When I cased it for tooling it became slimy and sticky. I was able to tool, but dye would not take, mostly just rubbed off. It is not mentioned in the description that it’s finished leather. If you want just plain natural guitar strap, this is the way to go, since it’s hermann oak. If you want it for tooling and coloring, just cut your own."
