These #2 Belt Blanks are cut from 8–10 oz. vegetable-tanned double shoulders and give you a substantial starting point for making a traditional leather belt. The buckle end is already skived and prepared, saving you some of the tedious work before you ever start tooling.

Natural veg tan gives you plenty of room to make the belt your own. Tool it, stamp it, carve it, dye it, antique it, or keep it simple. Basketweave and other field stamps work especially well on these blanks because they can help disguise some of the minor cosmetic marks that come with #2 grade leather.

Choose from 1¼" or 1½" widths, with versions available with snaps or without snaps. The blanks without snaps still have the buckle-end holes and slot prepared, so you can install your own hardware without having to punch everything from scratch. They are also available individually or in 10-packs for shops making multiple belts.

Because these are #2 grade blanks, expect some range marks, bug bites, healed scars, or other minor surface blemishes. Those characteristics do not prevent the leather from making a good working belt and often disappear into tooling or become part of the finished character.

Please Note: Average length is approximately 48–50". Natural markings and cosmetic blemishes are expected on #2 grade belt blanks.
