Fiebing’s Leather Stain is an oil-based, non-flammable penetrating stain made for heavy, natural vegetable-tanned leather. It works into the leather to produce long-lasting color with a rich, lustrous appearance.

The stain can be applied with a wool dauber, spray gun, or by dipping, depending on the size of the project and the amount of coverage needed. Compatible shades can also be blended together to create custom tones and variations.

Leather Stain works especially well on heavier veg-tan projects such as belts, straps, holsters, sheaths, saddlery, cases, and other leather goods where deep penetrating color and a polished appearance are desired.

Please Note: Use on clean, unfinished vegetable-tanned leather. Always test on a scrap piece before applying it to the finished project, as final color will vary depending on the leather, surface preparation, and application method.
