SLC is proud to offer tracing patterns from Jim Linnell, one of the most recognized teachers and artists in modern leathercraft. Jim has spent more than 50 years working with leather, perfecting his craft, studying the history behind traditional carving styles, and passing that knowledge along to leatherworkers around the world.

These pattern packs cover everything from classic Western floral carving and regional carving styles to belts, billfolds, corners, sunflowers, hearts, and more advanced embossing designs. Jim’s leatherwork has appeared on magazine and catalog covers, in galleries, and at leather shows around the world. His honors include the Al Stohlman Award for Achievement in Leathercraft, the Lifetime Achievement Award, and the Master Leather Artisan Award from the Academy of Western Artists.
