Terrible quality for lacing projects
"Thankfully I only bought small samples of this lace, to try on a small veg-tan purse. Almost immediately I could see that, while it looks pretty straight out of the package, it looks terrible as soon as you work with it. Any pulling through holes or stretching (as you need to do while lacing a project), and it starts to lose its integrity and color consistency. I was afraid it might even break. (It didn't, but it may yet.) The Turkey Red was worse than the Red Brown, but now I don't trust the quality of any of it. Also, be aware that the color is only on the surface, so you will see natural leather color on the cut ends. Maybe it's fine for other kinds of projects, but not for lacing."
