Mahogany Saddle Skirting Nice and clean, these veg tanned skirting sides have been dyed through in a pleasant, light mahogany color. Our in-store Master Leather Craftsman and Saddle Maker, Denny Lowe, tried his hand at testing this leather out and in very short order, he declares “Winner, winner, chicken dinner!” (Whatever that means…) Denny said that this stuff carves and tools beautifully, and burnishes even better. It accepts oils and dyes evenly for a deep rich color. He explained that leather of this caliber will enable you to create the most glorious saddles ever to behold!
