These leather strips are cut from vegetable-tanned harness leather produced by Medina Torres. Heavily waxed with a rich pull-up, the leather has the dense body and finished surface you want for belts, straps, tack, handles, harness work, and other projects that need some serious leather behind them.

At 8–10 oz., these strips have plenty of structure while the waxed finish keeps the leather from feeling dry or unfinished. Bending and flexing the leather moves the waxes within the surface, creating lighter areas and subtle tonal variation that give the finished piece plenty of character.

The harness leather also works well with adhesive, making these strips useful for laminated straps, layered construction, and other projects where a dependable glue bond matters.

Widths are available from ½" through 3½", making it easy to choose the right size for belts, bag straps, handles, tack, utility straps, and heavier leather goods.

Please Note: This is a finished leather and is not recommended for tooling, stamping, or wet molding. Natural pull-up, surface variation, and minor character marks are normal and are part of the look of this leather.
