"This has been one of my favorite leathers to work with. I use it for bookbinding. It has a nice rustic look. My most recent purchase, however, had a lot of discoloration and scars that rendered much of it unusable for book cover. I realize there will be scars and marks on a full grain leather, but this one had more than I encountered on my previous purchases."

"I ordered a 3sf and I received a great piece of leather, with a broad color variance and tons of character like bug bites and other markings, the interior is very soft and feels luscious. I used most of it to make a permanent slip-on cover for a larger book. It has some stretch and I liked working with it. I've noticed no color transfer. I used the rest of the piece to make a B6 slim travelers notebook. It's a soft floppy pebbled leather but the thickness gives it good structure. It's a great leather for notebooks if you like the rugged rustic look."
