S.B. Foot Sillero Amber is an American-made chrome-tanned leather with a warm, rustic appearance and plenty of natural character. The grain side has a smooth matte finish with a waxy, slightly oily feel and a subtle pull-up that creates tonal changes as the leather is bent and worked.

At 5–6 oz. with a medium-soft temper, Sillero Amber has substantial body without feeling stiff or rigid. It drapes and folds comfortably, cuts cleanly, and sews well, making it useful for projects that need some structure while still benefiting from flexibility. The flesh side is also remarkably clean, with a warm bronzy tone and very little loose fiber.

This leather will naturally pick up scratches, scuffs, and handling marks as it is worked and used. Rather than looking out of place, those marks blend into the waxy pull-up finish and help develop the broken-in character that makes S.B. Foot leather so appealing.

Sillero Amber is an excellent choice for backpacks, satchels, messenger bags, duffels, cases, journal covers, footwear, belts, straps, and other leather goods where a substantial but comfortable leather is needed.
