SLC’s Tooling Wallet Backs give you a ready-cut piece of vegetable-tanned leather designed to pair with many of our popular wallet interiors. With the cutting already done, you can spend more time tooling, stamping, carving, and finishing your design.
At 4–6 oz., these backs are slightly heavier than our standard wallet back offerings, giving you enough substance to take tooling impressions beautifully while adding a solid feel to the finished wallet. Add a name, initials, basketweave, floral carving, western design, maker’s mark, or something completely your own.
Tooling Wallet Backs are available in styles made to coordinate with our Roper, Biker, Deluxe Bi-Fold, Maverick Bi-Fold, Maverick Tri-Fold, and Metro Bi-Fold wallet interiors.
Natural veg tan gives you plenty of freedom at the bench. Tool it, stamp it, carve it, dye it, antique it, paint it, or combine techniques to make the wallet your own. These backs work equally well for an everyday carry wallet, a custom customer order, or a handmade gift.
Please Note: If ordering the Biker Wallet style, be sure to have two Line 24 caps and sockets on hand to complete your wallet.
